The USB MIDI interfaces come with their own drivers and installation instructions. It's a pretty easy install, and you don't need any other drivers.

: Thanks Les for the info. If I buy an interface does the module work off of the drivers of the interface or doI still have to load the midi module drivers also?

:
: : Using the serial port for MIDI is nothing but trouble.
: : The best way to connect MIDI devices to a computer is a USB interface. You can get one new for $39. It's easy to install and works with Windows 98SE and XP even MAC.
: : I would recommend the Midisport UNO for a single MIDI module. For multiple MIDI devices you can get multiport interfaces.

: : : I can't get the drivers to load in windows 98SE and also would like to know how to get it to be compatible with XP.
