JV 1080 setup/starter

Just acquired a nice JV 1080 module but the manual is useless and really need some help getting into it. Firstly, how to set up a performance to use with my Alpha Juno keyboard and a MT32 with either cubase 3 or Pro24 on the Atari. I have Cbase 5VST and a Thinkpad, but I think I'll tackle that setup another time!
Really would appreciate any advice as really stuck and confused!!
