keyboard split and midi channels

I have a yamaha s03 keyboard, and have set up various split voices (mostly bass/piano, bass/organ, etc)what i would like to do is, instead of both voices coming out of one amp, I would like to send each into a separate amp...I vave a dr. synth sound module, an midi'd the keyboard into it , to use its' bass settings, and it works, but it also plays my piano/organ etc as bass notes...can I set it to receive only the bass part of the split? or is there another way around this problem? thanx
