How good is the Yamaha EX7 as a workstation synth ? Is it better than the Roland XP-60 ? I've heard that the EX7 is a great synth, but how good is it as a complete workstation? I've also heard that the Roland XP-60 is a good workstation but is it better that the EX7 as a workstation ? I'm not sure whether I should buy the EX7 or the XP-60. I want to buy a good second-hand workstation synth as I can't really afford a brand new one like the Motif. The XP-60 does NOT have a sampler but the EX7 has one. But my real issue is about the sequencer. Is the sequencer in the EX7 as good as the sequencer in the XP-60 ? I naturally like Yamaha products and currently own a DX7S which is still a decent synth but it has no sequencer or sampler. Is the EX7 a 'much' better synth than the DX7S ? How does the EX7 compare to the current Motif ? I would appreciate any feedback or help with these queries. Many Thanks. Danny.
