PSR 5700 - format of files?

Hi! The disc drive on my Yamaha PSR5700 has died. I have a few hundred files created on the machine and cannot find a way to read them on any other keyboard or computer. Ideally I would like to recover them and store them as midi files, however, the Yamaha format doesn't seem to be recognised by any other machine.
Does anyone know a way to get those files off the floppy discs? Or, is there a way to replace the disc drive (I've tried substituting standard PC floppy drives, but it doesn't recognise them.)
