Cubase VST Score MAC

Steinberg's Cubase Score transforms your Macintosh PowerPC into a complete recording studio. Cubase's integration of audio and MIDI recording makes it easy to combine the best the MIDI world has to offer with your own audio recordings. Just by using a simple MIDI interface with your Macintosh, any combination of MIDI keyboards and MIDI sound modules can be connected. Cubase is also a very proficient notation layout and printing program, handling even the most demanding professional orchestral notation needs. For the audio features, no expensive additional DSP hardware is required. As a minimum we would suggest a small mixer and a good monitoring system, but as your needs grow, you can add multiple inputs and outputs with very cost effective PCI audio cards. But one thing to remember is that Cubase is complete; Quality audio effects are included, and can be extended later with an ever increasing selection of PlugIns, so you probably only need the extra ins & outs to integrate your current hardware effects or mixing desk. We call this the Virtual Studio Technology.

Interactive Timeline Editing gives hands on control over the structure and form of your composition. Edit decisions are supported by a comprehensive undo/redo system.

The Virtual Studio is complete with channel strips, group channels, effects racks, insert points, and equalizers.

Event based editing is handled by one of the seven different graphic editors. Each has a special focus on an aspect of the relationship between the events.

System Requirements
Cubase needs a powerful computer instead of expensive hardware, so the actual scale of the VST world you can create depends on the performance of the computer you use. As an absolute minimum we would suggest a computer with 32MB and a processor running at 120MHz. There is no maximum system requirement, but an Apple G3/300MHz, with 128MB or more, would be very, very cool.
