The NanoPiano is dedicated mainly to piano sounds, so it has more of those.
The NanoSynth is a General MIDI module, it does have a few piano sounds but not nearly as many as the Nano Piano.
Both modules get their piano sounds from the same sample library, the only difference is the amount of ROM used for piano sounds.
