Boosted Sound Memory After many years (since 1983) of experience of sampling percussion sounds, Clavia has developed a new powerful algorithm for storing 16-bit linear percussive sounds in a highly efficient format. The new storing format is based on algorithms for analyzing redundancy in percussive sound with respect to the important transient response of a typical percussive instrument. Thanks to this effective storing format, the memory capacity is multiplied 4-6 times depending on the types of samples. The ddrum4's extensive internal sound library offers hundreds of kicks, snares, toms, cymbals and various other percussion sounds. All of the sounds in the Internal sound library have been specially selected and carefully sampled to make them as genuine as their acoustic counterparts. Thanks to the new memory format, the sounds will ring just the way you want them to.
